Job Title:
Application Support Engineer – AS001
Job Description:
- Systems implementation including installation, configuration, testing of software and Operating systems.
- Defining system and operational, policies and procedures.
- Perform daily systems housekeeping and system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control, evaluation, establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures, completing back-ups, maintaining documentation.
- Upgrades system by consulting with vendors and services, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
- Provides End user support related to business applications.
Job Requirements:
- 5 years experience in Software development and testing.
- Experience in working with Linux environment.
- Experience in operating Windows servers.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
- Knowledge of Web applications and basic networking protocols.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database administration is a plus.
- Awareness of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a plus.
- Ability to write Linux and Windows scripts is a plus.
Package:
7000 - 11000 L.E. + Medical insurance +++ (depending on experience and background).
